Black Creek Crossing has had some wonderful years breeding to great stallions
across the country. After the untimely death of Dynamic in the Dark, our
huge success with his offspring left us questioning how we could duplicate
the outstanding crosses we had with him. In 2004, an amazing opportunity
to own and promote Pure Dynamic came at a time when we were ready to make
a committment to this outstanding bloodline. |
| With an already strong broodmare band, we added a few more bloodlines to make what we could offer to the public meet anyone's tastes. With increasing interest in this fabulous stallion, we hope to add full mare care services to our customers in the next few years. Pure Dynamic will be offering frozen semen in 2006 and will be shipping to Australia for their 2005 season which begins August 1st of this year. The 2006 breeding fee will be $1250 with a discount of $250 if booked before February 1st of 2006. A first shipment is included. Mares bred on site will not be charged a chute fee. |

With our continued growth, it became apparent that we needed someone specializing in reproductive management and weanling and yearling management. Our barn manager, April Leas, has definitely stepped up to the task. She is motivated, hard working, team-oriented and personable. After her 1999 graduation from Dekalb High School, she attended Colorado State University where she was certified in reproductive management and artificial insemination, as well as techniques for handling and utilizing cooled and frozen semen. |

She will be assisting our veterinarian, Dr. Joanna Bronson, maintaining and supervising our vaccination and worming schedule, and assisting in breeding, foaling out mares, and implementing a comprehensive groundwork education for all foals born here. Every prospect that leaves here for their new home will bring with them an attitude that makes them an enjoyable willing partner with their new owner.
