Black Creek Crossing is very happy to be adding two very "colorful" mares to our line up. Zip Mania(Emma) is a Paint Me Zippo daughter and in foal to Vested Pine for 2012. She is as sweet as they come and I'm sure will be a very kind nurturing mother. We also are pleased to welcome a stunning Norfleet mare who comes to us from Terri Partin's breeding program. We appreciate the opportunity to have such a great mare. |

"Sleepy Little Asset" 1993 mare by Skip The Assets(by Investment Asset) X Sizzlin Zipper (by Zippos Old Gold) We are pretty excited about this mare joining our band. She is bred very similarly to our Congress Champion producer Investment Royalty and could be easily mistaken for her twin. She is in foal for an early 2012 Pure Dynamic so it will be very exciting to see what she gives us. She is enjoying the lush expansive pastures at Cooper Stallion Station in Georgia and will foal there next year. |

Lotto Cinnamon This is a nice big bodied mare who is turning into a great producer for us. She definitely has the pedigree ( out of the same dam as Hall of Fame mare Vested Faith) and beautiful looks that pass along to all her offspring. You can see her new 2011 filly on our foal page and her yearling gelding (both by Pure Dynamic) will represent us at several major futurities this year in Longe Line. |

Investment Royalty (Royal) Royal is one of those mares who doesn't come along every day. She was born and raised by Bob Bahler who after having a stroke had her trained to let him drag his leg over her to get on, then cue without the use of that leg for riding. Bob and Royal were 5th at the AQHA Congress! He "shared" her with his grandson who qualified her for the Youth World coming into her 3YO year. I bought her as a 3YO to be my show horse. We quickly became a great team accumulating 99 Novice Amateur WP points that first year which pushed me into the Amateur classes (which I probably wasn't ready for). She ended up with 39 Amateur WP points,99 Novice Amateur, 37 Youth Performance points, 31 Novice Youth, and 16 Open Performance points before her first pregnancy put her into retirement and a well deserved rest. From the very first foal it has been apparent that she can produce as well or better than herself. The first two foals were by Dynamic in the Dark (the day after she was bred to him for her second foal he died) and have had AMAZING careers. Gently in the Dark(renamed Phat Asset) has earned over $11,000 and has won such titles as Northwest Congress Champion (2 times), AQHA Congress Champion (3 times) and many other Champion titles in a range of classes from Hunt Seat Equitation, to Trail, Showmanship, and Western Riding garnering 3 Superiors along with his 3 Congress Champion titles. Invest in the Dark was also beautiful and extremely talented and on a winning path achieving 3 Superiors, a Congress Top 10 placing in the SAME class as Gently in the Dark who won it!! and numerous champion titles before his untimely death. With Dynamic in the Dark gone we tried some other nationally leading stallions for Royal having 1 Rocked and Steady, then 2 Blazing Hot foals the following three years. Blazing Blue Royalty is still writing his career and we expect to hear more from him. Full sister Invest In Miss Blaze has found her niche as a fantastic broodmare. This was a time during which we purchased Pure Dynamic as we could see that the best cross with this mare would be that bloodline. He did not disappoint and with his first embryo baby with Royal (Can You Say Dynamic), the list of wins started piling up. The same year his full brother was born (Hez Purely Dynamic) and is also following the family tradition achieving 3 ROM's so far this year (Amateur Performance, Amateur Halter, and Open Halter). With our purchase of Vested Pine our goal is to alternate breedings to Royal with him and Pure Dynamic so for 2008, 2009, and 2011 she has given us Vested Pine foals. I appreciate all that she has contributed to our breeding program. She's just "one of those mares" that don't come along too often.
