Dun in the Dark We are SO proud of Dun in the Dark. He is now under the management of Doug Huls and owned by Betty Watt and it seems the sky is the limit!!!! He received the World Championship title at the IBHA 2007 World Show in Amateur Western Pleasure and Junior Western Pleasure, while also being named Reserve World Champion in Amateur Trail plus a 3rd in the Jr. Trail. Just in September he secured 10 more points in just one trail class at the Santa Barbara show with several more high placings in other classes. He was on the top 50 money earners list as a 2YO, made a sweep of the Powers, Southern Belle, Reichert, and NSBA as a 3YO, got his Superior in Western Riding and Trail as a 4YO plus won a 4th final placing at the AQHA World in Trail that year (2006). We will eagerly watch as his show career continues!! |

| Gently In The Dark (aka. Phat Asset!) Maggie McCrady and Gently in the Dark (Phat Asset) have had an outstanding year with their current ranking of 3rd in the nation in 3YO WP (before her latest big wins). This terrific team won the Northwest Congress 3YO Non-Pro WP just a few weeks ago. Maggie tells me "Cash" will get some rest time before they start him in the Western Riding for 2005. Our congratulations to Carolyn Rice for her wonderful training of this great horse. We have a full brother to this horse (2YO) that is in training and ready to follow in his big brother's footsteps. Dun In The Dark - "Bailey" After winning the Southern Belle and Tom Powers Futurities, Bailey went on to dazzle the audience in the $7500 added Color 2YO WP at the Reichert placing 1st, then won the Color 2YO WP at the NSBA Breeders Futurity in Tulsa. "PurelySimply Dynamic" stud colt owned by Annie Schneider of Scottsdale, Arizona After an amazing summer garnering several LL top 5's at major AQHA shows, Julian traveled to his home in Arizona. He quickly settled in to his open air barn that skirts a national park. With the advantage of working out of their home, Annie and Patrick could personally see to the nurturing, care, and progress of their stud colt. They are doing an astounding job with Julian!! He has the mountains of Arizona as a backdrop and the desert as his exercise pen. Patrick is a runner and takes Jules on his jogs winding through the sandy washes and Annie ground drives everywhere. On a recent visit, I got to see firsthand the confidence and loving, quiet nature of this stallion. Annie's feeding program has really put a blossom on the colt~ he is the picture of health and a blue black that shimmers in the Sonoran sun. This colt has had everything under the sun done with him and couldn't be happier. We couldn't be prouder of this great team!! |  |
